It aint good...apart from all the security vulnerabilities, its also a bigger memory hog than firefox or ie7.

"It took security engineers perhaps less than two hours yesterday to introduce Apple's surprise entry in the field of Windows browsers to the big, cruel world of exploits and vulnerabilities, following its introduction yesterday morning at WWDC. As a result, much of the clout Safari had received as the secure browsing alternative is lost"

It's a very early beta, and it's not very good at the moment. I found that it loaded some pages extremely fast, but other than that, don't get it just yet.

I grabbed it when it first dropped, it was awesome for like the first ten minutes. then i went to a couple of my favorites sites, and it didnt like them at all.

It crashed hard on neweggs search engine. and it still missing stuff that i require in my browsers.

I'm glad i didnt download it for my mac, the mac version overwrites the older version of safari. the mac version messed up all kinds of stuff from what i hear.

I uninstalled it of my HP for now. it needs a lot work.

I would keep using Firefox. I don't think anybody has said anything good about it.

"It's a beta, it still needs work", is what everyone pretty much says, and that is not saying something good about it

Safari is stable on my eMachines desktop, but very slow. Not sure why it's so fast for some folks, but so sluggish for me. Oh, well . . . I don't even use Safari on my Macs because FF is so much faster on them, too.
