I just bough an hp envy beats with dual ssd AND hd. I think the ssd is the samsung 128gb. How do you run trim on this ssd? i am new to ssd, but i do know you have to run trim on them, but i dont know how.

Also i deleted all programs and i dont know where 30gigs of memory went on this ssd. it shows i only have 74 gb left, but i added all my folder in c drive and i nly see 4 gigs being used.

Regarding trim, if you are on Windows 7, it will run by itself. Just need to make sure that you are using either the msahci or iastor drivers.

You can check this on the top left corner of the window when you open the AS SSD Benchmark tool. Ideally, the SSD would also be aligned and there will be a line shown in green.

As for the missing space, do you have both hidden and system files unhidden on Windows Explorer options?

In Windows Explorer, click the "Tools" menu-> "Folder options;" and then click "Show hidden files, folders, and drives;" clear the "Hide protected operating system files" check box, and then click OK.

Yeah, i did that as well. I also added the hidden folders and files, but it does not add up to more than 5gigs. My ssd is 128gb, and it shows only 74g free, but i already deleted all the junk programs hp sticks you with and swsetup folder and i cannot find any fodler or file that would equal 54 gigs of memory.
