I own a dv5000 which I purchased about 1.5 months ago. just recently, the screen became fimsy. It stays in position well, until I poke the screen; it then begins to wobble back and forth. Is this normal? Do you think the circuity city warranty would cover something like this?

    How flimsy do you mean?

I have a dv5020 that I have had for a couple weeks now and you can move the screen back and forth a bit which might cause the wobbling you are talking about - but the dv5000 is not a business class notebook or a ThinkPad so the hinges really aren't that great on it.
