    Interesting question. It could be possible to replace the original screen by another one.
    But we have to find a fhd cable that is compatible with the new screen (900p or 1080p). Considering that the envy 6 only has a model with a 768p screen, we must find a cable from another laptop. And we should pray that the new screen is going to work (if it doesn't work it will never work whatever you do).

    is it so difficult for hp to make this notebook with antiglare display f...n idiots
    i loose my vision because one sucker decide to make laptops with f...n glare glitching displays
    somebody sue for this f...n notebook manufactures
    consumers must have a choice to buy glare or antiglare model of notebook

    Many of Samsung's current laptops have matte displays, as do some Lenovos. I'm still hunting for a laptop with a 1600x900 matte display combined with a backlit keyboard in a reasonably compact package.

    The envy 6 use a slim led screen. Unfortunately I think there is no 15,6" slim led screen with 1600x900 or better resolution :(
    Now I'm waiting for the envy 6 release in belgium, because the french version of the envy 6 has no backlit keyboard unlike the belgian one (azerty keyboard)
