    Hi,

just got a CQ60-113EO for free because the LCD panel is busted. While not a high end machine, I figure it will be worth repairing it, especially since I can do the panel swap myself.

I have not been able to find any parts that go above the factory installed 1366*768, so I turn to the bright minds here and ask:
    - is there a better panel than the original LG, model LP156WH1, (TL)(A1) to be had? As long as I am getting a new panel I would prefer a higher resolution one.

I tried the machine with a panel from an old Presario X1000, so I am confident that I can replace it with some other panel that is not 100% compatible, just as long as it has the same connector. What I am looking for is suggestions for a panel of the same physical dimensions, so that it actually fits in the enclosure.

    All tips appreciated, thanks!
