    scroll thing wont work

    on the rigth of the touch pad there a scroll up and down thing but it dont seem to work right. i mean it did before but now every site i go to i wont work. when i try to scroll the pointer change to a an picture of the scroll down collums.

    Try uninstalling and reinstaling the drivers for the mouse. That usally does the trick! :)

    If the Synaptics or Alps pointing device program has been disabled as a startup item, then the scroll thing won't work either. To check, go to start-->run-->type in msconfig-->click on the last tab (startup) and check to see if the program's been disabled.

    There is an option to turn that feature off, under mouse in the control panel. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think default setting is off????

    It is annoying, use the arrow keys :p
