I am curious about the dv6000z series, (6500z, 6700z) with the AMD processor.
I would like to hear what you think of the model itself...reliability, turions power and multitasking ability, and so forth....also which turion speed you chose as well.
    thanks!

um ,...I do like the guide, nice job.
OK, So just asking about the dv6000z series with the AMD processor, just would like some info on that model specifically, not with the "t" but with the "z"
    thanks.

Like I said, it's just like the "t" system, just with a different processor.

i have a dv6772nr...it's got the amd turion 2.2ghz gold edition processor. my friend has a 2.2ghz core 2 duo, but mine lappy seems to be more responsive, overall, than his. But then again I have tweaked the crap out of vista, also he uses dreamscene with vista ultimate, and i have home premium(both os's are 64 bit).

    Hi,
I have the HP dv6255us which is an AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-56 (1.8GHz) based model with 2GB and MS Windows Vista Home Premium. Since March of last year, I've had a good experience with it.

I agree with harpreet1988, tweaking Vista will improve your systems' performance. I followed the MS Windows Vista tweaking guides ( here & here) and noticed my notebook is now much more responsive than before.

Things I do with my notebook:
    • Browse the web
    • MS Office
    • Create PDF files with CutePDF
    • Photoshop Elements & Flickr
    • Napster & Pandora
    • Miro & Joost
    • MS Windows Media Center w/HD off-the air TV Tuner
    • Make small clips for YouTube
    • Very light gaming (FlatOut2 and PokerStars)
