    the ones that came with the laptop. there is alot of them HP software.

    the norton internet sercurity is a trial version i think.

    Yea, most of it is junk and it will most likely slow down your computer. There are plenty of threads detailing how to do a clean install because even after you remove all of them, there are still a few stubborn ones or remnants.

    I would suggest getting alternative antivirus/firewall which are free and less resource hungry than Norton. You can delete any HP software, the only thing I would suggest keeping is HP Quickplay and the HP Quicklaunch buttons software.
