    should you remove the battery if you are using the lappy at home?

    i've done that with my old lappy
    i am not sure though

    should you? if you know that you won't take your lappy out for a few days

    Yes if your laptop is connected to an external battery (UPS). So if your power trips, you wouldnt loose your data etc.

    Removing the battery helps in keeping it cool and maybe an increase in battery life.

    It's recommended so as not to overheat the battery.

    It has no effect on the battery life. it just keeps it a little cooler

    ya, this is when I get confused
    Some people say that leaving it in the laptop will make it continously getting discharged(a few %)/charged, some people say that it won't make a difference.



    Also...
    How do you break in?
