some keys on my keyboard were not working so I replaced the keyboard. still the same keys are not working, also the keys dont work in the bios so its not a windows problem, did i mess up the motherboard connector and does that mean i have to get a whole new motherboard, cause that would really suck.

Have you tried using an external keyboard?

Also which keys arent working again?

if you replaced the keyboard and the same exact keys are still not working then you most likely have a system board issue.

It seems that a few more are working but still not all of them are which is obviously a problem, haha.

Esc, down, qwerp, probably some other ones didn't go though the whole thing. I don't own a usb keyboard and my notebook has no PS/2 port on it, so I guess I have to go out and buy/borrow a usb keyboard.

So have you checked your keyboard drivers ? Maybe update or
    reinstall them.

Check the keyboard cable, maybe clean the cable end carefully.
If that doesn't cure it, it's more than likely a motherboard hardware problem.

As jc55 states above, if you check the cable and it still isn't working, then it is most likely a motherboard problem.

    Is your laptop under warranty?

    UPDATE:

For some reason I decided to go back in under the hood.

I disconnected and reconnected and now its working, idk what happened but I'm not complaining.

Still got the speaker problem to figure out but too tired to deal with that now.

I dont really like this new keyboard though, feels kind of gummy maybe Ill get used to it, Im too afraid to try my old keyboard again as I feel like I got really lucky with this one working now, oh well getting a new notebook soon anyway.

Since only some of the keys are working..you either

    A) Somehow damaged the ZIF connector by pulling it out improperly

    B) Didnt insert the cable properly

You should try your old keyboard again if you prefer it. Just keep reseating the cables till it starts working.

What was wrong with the speakers again?

Im kind of scared that if I do its not going to work again.

Beeping sound, havent really started to tackle that problem yet, just really happy the keyboard has finally started to work again.
