i am going to buy the hp pavilion 6515 (in israel) which is supplied with vista.
i want xp and i know i have to follow the guide written by mujjuman.
    question number 1:
i should make the cd with xp sp2 and the drivers. i think i can do it, but my question is : can i prepare the cd using my current computer?
i mean i will download the drivers and sp2 and burn it before having the laptop.
    question number 2:
in the guide he added a link to the drivers. do the drivers suit to all HP pavilion 65**?

Yes, you can prepare it using your current computer. It is possible that there might be drivers that are not compatible with your setup. It all depends on your configuration.

shouldnt be an issue. Also you can find drivers from the HP website. That is one place where HP doesnt suck.

I have a DV6500T and I had XP SP2 installed just fine. You will need to slipstream the SATA drivers with XP in order for XP to detect your SATA drive. All drivers works fine so you shouldn't have any problem.

Be sure to read the sticky thread at the top.
