    my hp laptop, when i started it
    i had error no disk found at bootup
    afther i installed all windows xp etc.. drivers
    i tunred it on
    and found out all my partions gone
    and i had 1 partition 250GB empty
    how can it be?
    was it virus?
    or MBRSEctor ??!
    now i reinstalling all over omg ;//

    I think the system did not find the hard disk driver. Did you see any partition options while installing windows ?

    For one thing, please try to speak (or rather, write) more coherently.

    Anyway, it sounds like something broke your partition table. If you're lucky, it'll actually be relatively easy to fix: download and burn (on another computer) "Ultimate Boot CD", and then run TestDisk (under Filesystem Tools). Hopefully, it should automatically find your lost partition table. It may take a little while to figure out how to use TestDisk, but it's relatively simple.
