hi , my new dv5t just arrived :D
    it's dv5-1135 , and i love it so far :p
no whine or any noise till now (i read lots of complaints about dv5t whine sometimes)
but there's one really really weird thing
u know when u press "shift + 2" the resulting symbol should be @
    it's giving me a "
i was suspicious so i tried the "shift + key that is supposed to give me " " and the result was a @
    is the laptop faulty ???
the main functions of the keys are right but the alternate functions @ and " are swapped
the same thing happens when i press "shift + 3" the result should be # , mine is a symbol i think it's the pound or some curency
other keys work properly "shift + 4" = $ etc....
what do u think about this
andone more thing , i want to create the recovery discs , is there any guides ?

Check the control panel for keyboard layout.

As for the recovery discs, there is a creator program. Its pretty easy aslong as you follow the steps.

Start - Control Panel - Regional and Language Options - Keyboards and Languages - Change Keyboards - tell us what is here.
