I purchased Dv6114tx notebook with windows xp media center. After the launch of vista i upgraded xp media center to vista home premium. But after the upgrade the sound volume has been reduce by almost 80%. so if i have to watch movie or listen to music then i have to put on the headphones.

Is this problem with all the notebook loaded with windows vista or only with my notebook. HP service center here in India have said that this is a problem with all notebook loaded with windows vista and said that the problem will be solved if I load xp again.

Please tell me is there any way to increase the sound volume.
