    hey, this question is for people with dv2500, dv6500, and dv9500 with Windows Vista.

    does your laptop's microphone work? does it record sound and play back with normal volume?

    Yes it works. The Mic-IN volume seems to be weak though but enough to talk on VoIP programs. I usually just crank up the volume on ventrillo

    What are you expecting to record?

    my brother played around with it and it seemed to work fine.
    mess around with your drivers any? could try updating them maybe..
