OK, so my brother installs a Pre Amp thing on my 9500t. For a while the sound worked through my built in speakers or my headphones plugged directly into the compy, or through the pre amp...but now the sound can only come through pre amp. I dont know what the deal is. I go to the sound control panel and it says the Realtrek audio device is working, and the little sound meter thing says there's sound when music is playing, but i cant hear anything...

this sounds silly, but id guess something was muted on your audio control panel. the 9500t only has headphone connections. are you pumping the sound through the headphone jack to your pre amp or the digital out?
