    Hi Im new to the forum, and just bought an older dv2900 series for my girlfriend, and i know she's not gonna like the color, does anyone know where i can get a white lid or at least a dv4 lid with the imprint and led lit hp logo? will those even work on a dv2900? so many questions...so little time help please! its a Christmas gift!

    sorry man but i think the dv2900 and dv4 have totally different designs and it would be hard to buy separate screens and attach them to the laptop. just give it to her as it is and if she doesnt like it she can get one of those skins that covers the whole lid.
