I don't know why, but my fingers always seem to be sticky when i use my touchpad.

Sure i can wash my hands, but it'll eventually get sticky again, and the touchpad gets pretty sluggish

Does anyone know of anything you can maybe wipe on the touchpad to make it more slippery/friction free?

is the stickiness coming from material being generated from the touchpad while it's being used? Or perhaps sweat from your fingertip is mixing in there somehow (although I've never met anyone with sweaty fingertips...)

you can try EZ-OFF, a "goo" removing cleaner I found at the dollar store. It gets rid of gum, badly peeled-off stickers, and all sorts of sticky messes. Though I'd be careful with any chemical as it might harm the surface of your touchpad.

also, I think I've seen some people put plastic protectors on their touchpads (along the line of pda screen protectors.) Dunno why they did that or how the touchpad sensitivity was affected, but it's plausible. Again, I'd be careful as anything that adheres to a surface has a chance of leaving residue, thereby adding to your problem instead of fixing it.

hope these suggestions help or inspire other solutions

Is it new? I've found that new touch pads have a tendancy to be like that until they get nice and smooth from being worn a bit. Might want to just wait until you've used it more.
