still no news from FedEx

Are you sure your laptop is in florida? Ours shipped at the same time but mine now says:

Odd... no way I get this before monday, which is fine with me....

 

Don't say never. Mine showed Anchorage, AK and arrive two days later. But I would guess you'll get it Monday.

 

I dont know I just know that when I called the Fedex number it said that it was enroute to my local fedex station in my zipcode. That office is like less than ten minutes away. Also there is a bigger hub in Orlando by the airport which is like 30 minutes away. If it was still going towards Orlando it would say a different zip code. In this forum there was one user that wrote that he had just gotten confimation that his was in alaska and as he was reading that he said the fedex guy was knocking on his door with his new toy.

So I guess it left the alaska location earlier today and is on it's way to the next stop wherever that may be.

I missed the fedex man who stopped by at about 10am even though the expected delivery date was the 8th by 1030a. So I have to wait to 5pm to pick it up at the fedex office. I am excited to say the least

Does fedex deliver on Saturday?

 

No, they don't deliver, far as I know, unless it was 2 day or overnight (that might have changed since the last time I looked).

Call fedx... they will tell you your options.

 

I mean I just ordered a replacement battery and ac adapter for my girl's laptop and they shipped it normal. It only took four days to get here from California. It wasn't overnight cause I mean it came here in...well four days while still dropping the battery and ac adapter on a saturday. I mean I think my local station said that they saturday delivered. I don't really remember. Well since i'm here I have a question. I'm at a friends house and she has a Hpdv6252us. Well I had this old wireless router. So I was like here have it so you can use it with your own laptop. Its here but it doesn't work. Thats it, it doesn't even work. How can I make it work?

 

why won't it work... what is the issue.... in detail, please...

Your post reads like me calling the car dealer and saying my car won't start. How can I get it to start? lol

The Fedex Tracking is all screwed up. HP said they shipped both of my laptops on Sunday and gave me two tracking numbers. every day i checked Fedex's website and they had no record of the parcels. finally fedex claimed they picked up the parcels on Thursday from china which is completely inaccurate because they were delivered Friday morning! It was serendipitous Fedex Delivery this morning

 

Mine should be there by tomorrow. It's already at the local facility that is like three miles from where I am and they do saturday deliveries. So i'm gettting miney tomorrow for sure.

 

Ordered my Dv9500t with 30% off coupon, Sep 30, 2007 and it still hasn't shiped does it usualy take this long ? and after it ships about how long would it take to get to florida with the standard shipping ?

 

mine took 6 days, I'm in Orlando

 

Ours shipped on the same day... if you don't count the weekends, the time was really only four days..... guess you got it on that monday.

 

ok according to HP my dv9500t shipped today so we will see, how long it takes

 

the funny thing is that if it was delivered an hour earlier it would have been sent to my local faciltiy on friday night and been delivered on saturday morning

 

The day that hp says that it shipped and the day that Fedex actually picks it up could be two different days. As in my case hp said it shipped on a saturday but it really got picked up on the following monday. I you live in FLA then your probably going to have to wait until the estimated day that they give you. Also if you don't have your hands on a Anytime Upgrade Disk by now to do a clean install then you should order one so they can get here around the same time.

 

OK, good news and bad news.... attempted delivery , i wasnt home now i have to pick up at 1pm ... So overall Fedex did a awsome job with the shipping.... 3days from china to Florida at my doorstep with the HP free shipping

Both notebooks were identicaly configured, ordered with the 30% off coupon.

Both orders had free 5 day shipping.

Both orders shipped from Shanghai, China at the same time.

Both Orders arrived in Ancorage, AK at the same time.

Order "A" went from Ancorage, AK to Memphis TN and is delivering overnight.

Order "B" went from Ancorage, AK to Indianapolis, IN and is due to be delivered on Monday.

Initially, it took some some for the FedEx tracking number to work. For the next 12 hours, as I checked the status, it either showed up, or showed that the tracking number did not exist. I am guessing that FedEx has some problems keeping some of the database servers in sync.

Now, I am getting ready to change the sig to a T7700 processor. With the coupon, it only cost $70 more, however, if it saves only minute per day over the life of the machines (and it will do more than that), I will profit by about $3000.00, or, in other words, that small speed difference almost paid for the cost of the whole machine!

My last notebook order was to be built on 10 oct... they finished it one day late (well two days, I have the tracking number now, but no status) and gave me a $50 coupon as a "sorry." I did not complain or ask for the coupon... matter of fact, they automatically sent it to me... a couple of days late was no big deal to me, so $50 was a real gift....

Spent the $50 on a free (free shipping, free tax, free everything) $49.99 HP 400VA UPS and Surge Protection device. I was looking for a ups for my windows home server (I have one for my other devices) ... now I have the ups and surge protector for free! Here we often have those one to three minute power failures... sometimes even 45 seconds or less due to new developments going up or whatever (I don't know for sure). UPS is a must...

The ups I was looking at were cheaper than the HP, but hey, free is free... plus, I did not want to spend anymore money, and wanted to get the most out of my coupon. lol

 

I had two FedEx packages scheduled to be delivered to my downtown studio today. I checked the tracking status this morning and BOTH were on the truck for delivery. Well... one got delivered to the wrong address, i called, they picked it back up but won't be attempting delivery until next week... and the second package never showed up.
I talked to both the FedEx Express driver and the FedEx Ground driver who deliver to my area, and neither knew anything about either package.
FedEx sucks!!
