i have hp dv5 1135.i have been using it for a month and it is working fine, but there is strange sound coming from it.
i am pretty much sure that the internal HD that is making the noise. The sound it makes inside is like clattering, or grinding
Also, I noticed that depending on what applications I run or if I let it sit idle, it will affect the noise it makes inside.
Anyone have any idea what's going on here.is my hd faulty?

Do you notice your HDD LED being lit up during the noise?

If so, it's just your hard drive. To prevent it from trashing, get more memory. ;)
