i was hoping that i could add it up. but it wont let me.
-
i tried the exact samething.
Went onto APP discount thingy,, but the 30%coupon didnt work.. -
bummer. i guess ill get the 1gb ram instead of 2gb
-
^don't do that if you don't plan on buying ram separately, trust me on this one.
-
Its only $50 more for an upgrade to 2GB. As Illmatic8 stated, unless you plan on upgrading right away you better get the 2GB or you'll regret it once you have the laptop, especially with Windows Vista.
-
You can't use both discount. Only one discount is allowed.
-
you can get the ram for cheaper anyway via newegg -
I doubt you can get 2-1GB sticks of RAM on Newegg for $50 (well you might get crap RAM for this price, but who wants that?). If you were planning on getting 2-2GB sticks then I would say stick with the 1GB of RAM stock and buy the RAM through Newegg.
-
yes you can for just over that ive even seen it at fry's for like 49$ for 2gb after rebate
-
-
Maybe not worth if you want to go to 2GB, but definitely worth it for 4GB. Also, you could sell the original 1GB on ebay for about $30.
-
its not 50$ more. if it was i would get it. theyre charging 100$ just for an extra gig...
-
For that price you can get a single 2GB module, and have 2.5GB. Or save the money. Make sure to check out the hot ram deals thread. You're looking for DDR2-667 SODIMM RAM.
student discount + 30% not possible?
