    synaptic touchpad does not work

    dv6000 touchpad not recognized by driver. Also blue led always on and not effected by pushing on/off button. Had replaced motherboard due to failure just before this. All else works fine including usb mouse.

    maybe they didn't connect a cable or something , contact them , or try linux ubuntu live cd if it didn't work then its a hardware problem , i.e. they did something wrong or forgot something

    The ribbon cable to the touchpad is broken. You can find a suitable replacement in a broken DVD drive.
