Is it possible to have a dv9200 systemboard for replacemente with an intel gpu instead of an nvidia chipset???

I ask these becouse i have to repair main and the tech guy told me that he has the intel gpu board for the dv9200, but i can not find any spec on the web about that.

    Anyone knows????

The dv9200t Intel units had both GM945 & PM945 Intel chipset boards, with the latter supporting specific nVidia gpus. The GM945 included the GMA 950, a rather weak igp and rarely seen on the 17" models.

so in your opinion if i had only the intel chipset choice, is better to have the pm945 chipset rather than the gm945?.

The PM945 board is for a discrete gpu, which will either be a Go 7400 or 7600 that is already soldered to the board. I don't think any other gpus were offered on this platform........
