    This is just the specification of that particular notebook. I think the maximum memory for that notebook is more than 2 GB, but I'm not sure. You should be able to find out using the Internet, however.

    Check with HP: It looks like 4GB max.

    Perhaps Office Depot's 2GB maximum upgrade means you can add another 2GB.

    the max is 4GB but you will need a 64bit OS to use the whole 4GB of RAM.
