    Hi all,

I have a choice between a tc4200 and an nc6220 at work. I like the smaller form factor of the tc4200, the longer battery life, and the tablet aspect intrigues me.

But, I value performance as well. But as far as I can tell they have identical performance specs: 1.86 ghz processor, sonoma platform, 512 mb 533 mhz ram, 60 gb 5400 rpm drive, Graphics Media Accelerator 900, etc. If they have pretty much the same performance specs, does that mean they perform pretty much the same as well? If that's the case, then it would be a no brainer for me - I'd go for the tc4200. But, if the 6220 actually performs better (why would that be?), then I'd probably have to go with that.

FYI, the most taxing tasks I would do would probably be photoshop and graphics (2D) manipulation/processing, but I do tend to run multiple apps at once....

Thanks in advance for any input! :D

If the specs are the same, they should perform the same. More memory will help your ability to multi-task.

If it helps, that tablet is pretty hot. You might check the reviews of it or the conversation on our tablet site.

Great, thanks for the confirmation. I had read a lot of the reviews on the 4200 and saw that it performed pretty well, but I just wasn't sure how it would fare against the nc6220 (which is pretty much my only option).

    Thanks again!
