    2 a 1gb (DDR2-533 DDR2 SDRAM)

    Disk Drev:FUJITSU MHT2080BH (80 GB, 5400 RPM, SATA)
    Disk Drev:FUJITSU MHV2120BH PL (120 GB, 5400 RPM, SATA)


    Standard temperatures:

    Idle: 50 Celsius CPU, 38 Celsius HDD

    Under Load: 70 Celsius CPU, 43 Celsius HDD

    My NC8430 runs at 65C at idle time, and 72C while heavy processing.
    Your temps look normal to me.

    70C under load is normal, they usually go for 60-75C

    and 43C for the drive is perfectly fine and quite alright

    if u think its too hot then get a notebook cooler and try undervolting using RMClock

    You have some pretty powerful compoents like your CPU and GPU, not to mention the hard drives you so can expect some good heat. Like mentioned your temperatures are 100% normal. If you want to bring down the temperature try shutting on some of the software which is running in the background.

    A technician from hp told me if the cpu reach 58C is bad...
