    on new laptop from HP factory, promised in 5-7 days now going on 3 weeks. Anyone else having a problem?

    hard drives and some lcd screens are in short supply for custom/factory builds.

    This time of year it's almost always faster to buy something in a store than to order custom.

    Yah, HP has loads of coupons, but stores have loads of sales.

    It probably meant the SHIPPING is 5-7 days ONCE it's done..it takes time to make them..

    Finally got it in 17 days. Initially voice said 5-7 days. Later 5-7 after built. Store is the way to go if you are looking for expediency. I saved a few bucks on cyber Monday.
