    the power supply for my dock keeps going dead

    for no reason , I then have to unplug it and replug , it then works again . it can go on for weeks most of the time , is this a sign the power supply is going ? once in a while i get a sound like a usb device is being unpluged and a few seconds later plugged in again , but nothing is , could this be because the power supply as well ? or a problem with the dock ?
