    It comes with an intel core 2 duo P8400 and NVDIA 9600M Gt... its literally oboslete... with a few bucks more you can easily buy a much better notebook... stay away from it...

    Well it is a great price with those specs for only $650 i think you should buy it but its up to you :)

    Keep in mind that $650 Canadian, is around $600 USD. Its not relaly obsolete, and at least it has a dedicated videocard + there wont be any taxes on it. You can go for it, i wouldnt pay more than 600 CAD for it though.

    definitely not obsolete, i could play most well ported games at medium to high 40+ fps with my old p7350
    and since he has the p8400 and he could overclock the 9600m gt

    yes sean, and by the way, you can ship your dv5 to me so that i can properly dispose of both yours and my dv7 at my local landfill.

    i mean, you can find netbooks these days with better specs than that!

    by the way, why the heck are you running 32-bit vista (isnt that sorta like win95 sp2?)
