    touchpad scroll does not work

    Synaptics is running now but the scrolling function of touchpad does not work anymore.

    Anyway to enable it? what is going wrong?

    ps. new machine and the touchpad worked just now.

    Go to Control Panel>Mouse>Device Settings>Settings to make adjustments to the tracking areas of the touchpad.

    Call up HP (good luck with that!) tech support and ask them what should be enabled for it to work. If you turned it off in MsConfig then it won't work.

    Start > Run > msconfig > I'm not sure which driver it is, so call up HP and find out.
