    Hi,

I hope if anyone can help me. Yesterday I got my HP1020tx Entertainment PC with touchscreen.

I started connecting, started the Vista installation that starts from the recovery partition and suddenly i got this error:

"The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error.
Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click "OK" to
restart the computer and then restart the installation."

But when you click OK, it restarts and comes back to the same error. You
cannot get out of the cycle.

    Save mode/nothing will work.
Ok I decided to try to install win XP

But Now I dont have any drivers for it no Video, no Lan, and my tocuscreen what make this working?
I can download a lot vista drivers but no xp drivers, I updated the BIOS version to 7 but this doenst make any changes for my configuratoin or installation.

Is there anyone who can help me out? Any tip is welcome!

    Update:

I tried the nvidia driver from the website from HP and Nvidia, it wont install only error, could not locate andy drivers that are compatible with your current hardware...

I upgraded to XP SP2 in some hope that this will sove maybe the audo/lan driver but no luck...

XP is being phased out. Time to get used to Vista. Plus, you won't get tablet features on XP unless you have XP TPC Edition, which I doubt you do.

Try to reinstall Vista from the partition by pressing f11. Should return it to it's original config.
