I was wondering if anyone here has a tx2000. I just got mine from HP after the 500 off coupon, and was very please with everything except the heat output.

Does anyone here have one? How do you deal with the heat? Is anyone elses as loud as mine? Is it possible to "underclock" a processor to put out less heat? Basically -- is nyone having the same heat issues?

Also, the 6 cell battery juts out .. anyone know where to pick up a flush 4 cell?

Also, since I got my unit I wouldn't mind answering any questions anyone has in regards to the tx2000, since I see [after searching] that threads on this unit are still hard to come by.

A better place to go is this website's sister site, tabletpcreview.com, I know there's many TX1000 owners to talk to, not sure about TX2000, but both are very identical machines so they can help you.

My Compaq V3000 with a Turion X2 processor also got very hot, AMD isn't too hot in mobile chips.
