I have had no problems at all with my computer, and have just loved this laptop since I got it. But about a week ago, uTorrent started crashing/freezing my computer. I have the basic 750GB standard hard drive that came with the ENVY.

When running uTorrent, it will frequently freeze my computer, sometimes for a second, sometimes for minutes, and sometimes it will go BSOD and usually have error Bad Pool Caller, 0x0000c2, etc.

This only happens when utorrent is running and had no problems until about a week ago. I have tried installing different/previous versions of utorrent as well as the latest beta, nothing fixes it.

What I believe happened is some driver got auto updated through HP's software, and is having compatibility issues. My best guess is some storage driver, conflicting with the way utorrent is constantly accessing the hard drive.

The only restore points I have are for after the problems began (for some weird reason) so that's not an option. I'll continue disabling programs and uninstalling/reinstalling drivers, and will update this thread if anything changes.
Please help me! uTorrent is my life!!!!

Reinstall the intel storage drivers and wifi drivers.

thanks for your help, but I uninstalled and reinstalled all the intel drivers I could find. Did not fix a thing.

    Any other ideas? Anyone?

BIOS update should work...or revert back to old settings using system restore.
