    dv7t is taking too long.
    the studio 17 should do.

    im just really curious to how much it'd be going for.
    im liking the dell already.
    i'm no gamer, so the ati card is no biggie for me.
    and based on what ive read... it's NOT BAD.
    it's still good for games.

    dell has the backlit keyboard.
    may not seem like a big deal.
    but it is for some and is a very neat feature.

    dell offers WLED screen. dv7t doesn't.

    what attracts me to the hp is the 8cell battery and its overall better look.

    haven't seen the studio in person yet but i've been an avid dell customer for many years. lots of different systems (desktops & laptops), and have never had a problem *crosses fingers*
    but from personal experience with the older models, dell's design has really stepped up and the studio line looks like a nice line. not just towards gamin but for general use + some.

    and i know how u feel. i ordered my xps m1530 on 6/11...after 2 delays...new ship date is 7/11. =( very disappointed =(

    i would believe that the waiting game is like working capital for some of these companies. its like we order, they take our money, then we dont get anything for weeks or even months. if only we could charge interest for the time they had our money and had to wait. that would help them move alittle quicker.

    i would order at least a month before so u have ample time to make changes and so forth.
