    unknown device driver problem

    had a pre-installed vista on my 6680ej and everything was fine, till i upgraded to windows 7. now i have an unknown device in device manager called Intel(R) ICH8M LPC Interface Controller - 2815 and i can't seem to find drivers for it. please help. thanx in advance.

    install the HP quicklaunch stuff

    when i hear that i think it could be the card reader or webcam, Windows 7 doesnt automatically install those.

    the problem solved itself. when you delete this device from the device list the drivers for it then come atomatically form windows update site. these are hp's quicklaunch buttons. but thanx anyway.
