Do you have the SWSetup folder that originally got from HP? It contains all the drivers. You could try going to
http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/
It is a reliable site to locate and upgrade your video drivers. Check it out and report back if you still have problems. -
sign...i have got three discs came with the laptop itself, however, it doesn't have the proper driver for this video card, after i installed the driver provided from them, the video adepter shown as G93-700....and it makes my computer's mouse frozen as well...><

That is why I gave you an alternate method in the form of that link!
-
i am downloading it now....and i hope it works....because i have downloaded some drivers from nvidia site, and they all didn't work....
-
I hope this works. If it doesn't we know for sure that the drivers aren't the reason. I have heard that nvidia site drivers don't always work. So trying this out would be your best bet.
-
it didn't work mate, it said ' the nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compartible with your current hardware. setup will now exit'....><
-
the drivers are meant for desktops, so we have to mod it to make it work for laptops. -
i didn't know you have to download the INF, lol...i am an idiot in computers....i will try it after i got back from uni....i really hope it works...please....><
-

Hello Terrance,
I recently purchased the same machine you have. Have you noticed that when you play a movie in quickplay or windows media player and then do something else like play solitaire the movie slows down or becomes choppy?
Thanks
