    urgent help, HP HDX dragon

    please anyone, my dragon is falling....i recovered it...and my graphic card for some reason shown as G92-700, which i have never heard before, i can't get it back to 8800GTS, please could anyone help, i have tried to download driver fron nvidia, however, they all have errors when i install them...please anyone could have, i would be very appreciated. thanks :(

    Do you have the SWSetup folder that originally got from HP? It contains all the drivers. You could try going to

    It is a reliable site to locate and upgrade your video drivers. Check it out and report back if you still have problems.

    sign...i have got three discs came with the laptop itself, however, it doesn't have the proper driver for this video card, after i installed the driver provided from them, the video adepter shown as G93-700....and it makes my computer's mouse frozen as well...><

    i am downloading it now....and i hope it works....because i have downloaded some drivers from nvidia site, and they all didn't work....

    I hope this works. If it doesn't we know for sure that the drivers aren't the reason. I have heard that nvidia site drivers don't always work. So trying this out would be your best bet.

    it didn't work mate, it said ' the nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compartible with your current hardware. setup will now exit'....><

    download the modded INF, beside the driver download button, and replace the INF that comes with the Nvidia drivers with that one.

    the drivers are meant for desktops, so we have to mod it to make it work for laptops.

    i didn't know you have to download the INF, lol...i am an idiot in computers....i will try it after i got back from uni....i really hope it works...please....><

    Hello Terrance,
    I recently purchased the same machine you have. Have you noticed that when you play a movie in quickplay or windows media player and then do something else like play solitaire the movie slows down or becomes choppy?
