    i have a HP Pavilion dv7-6001sg.
    each time i plug my 2 usb3 hard drive, it says "This device can run faster", complaining about usb3.
    Which drivers do i have to download?

    only the left 2 are USB 3.0. I never understood HPs numbering scheme, but I have a dv7-6000, Intel based, and Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Drivers are the proper ones... Open up the device manager/Universal Bus Controllers and there SHOULD be entries... I am not sure if they work at ALL, if you don't have the right drivers installed...
