    usb port malfunction

    I have been having problems with an error code when trying to synch to my blackberry. It is a "connector specific error". It continues no matter which usb I use. I also have a problem with my neatscanner connecting. I have tried connecting other items,which have no problem. I have tried different cords with the same result. HP says it is not a computer issue, blackberry says it is not a blackberry issue. Where do I go from here? by the way, I have 3 ports on my tower and I have the same problem with each one.
