    Well the V2310 is a bit more portable, they are pretty close spec wise the r4125 is a bit faster and has a larger HD, all depends on what you prefer. Either way you will be getting a good machine.

    Battery life on the v2000 with the optional 12 cell battery will be exceptional.

    Yes, the V4000's battery life will be slightly less due to its larger screen taking more juice from the battery. With the 12 cell battery on the V2000, you'll get 6-8 hours.
