    v2000z memory: 200 pin *or* 184 pin?? Is it the same??

    Looking at DDR 400 SDRAM 1GB memory modules for v2000z. Some say 184-Pin and some say 200-Pin??? Is it the same? Do both work??

    184-pin is for desktops
    200-pin (SODIMM) is for notebooks.

    I have a Dell Inspiron i2200 laptop. When I open it up the memory in it says 256mb DDR 333Mhz 184 pin. Everything I have read says that laptops take 200pin. If I buy a 200pin upgrade will it fit in my machine? :confused:

    Best to look up in the manufacturers web site to see which memory your rig takes. Simple solution. I have dv2138xx and it take the 200 pin mem card
