    v2000z or v2300

    Any one else have this problem. I have a V2000z with AMD processor, but when let HP surch my computerit returns type v2300.

    Problem is the update drivers are different for each case.

    but the drivers you need for a turion v2000z are also on that page together with the intel versions.

    but if you type in v2000z on the search you will get a v2000z CTO page which is specific to the Turion version. This is the page it returns:

    what i find strange is that the latest BiOS(.23) is not shown in the Turion specific link (today 03/10/06) like it did a few weeks ago.

    the auto-detect to search for the drivers on the HP site only work if i'm using Internet Explorer but not on FireFox browser which is what I normaly use

    The bios.23 is infact what made me start this post. As I had also saw the .23 last week as well. This made me wonder just what drivers I should be using.

    Thanks for your input, this has been confusing for some time.

    What bios to use? What drivers have others been using v2000z or v2300?

    I am using F.23 and it seems to be stable. AMD Drivers from HP, Broadcom Wireless drivers from HP, Using the supplied drivers for the rest.

    Also updated drivers from synaptics.com for the touchpad since the HP ones does not support FireFox browser scrolling.
