Nope wont work, the RAM you linked is for desktop only, for the v2000z you"ll need 200 pin DDR SODIMM's like these...

As for brands Patriot are OK, but there are better ones like crucial, kingston, corsair, ocz. -
I have this Corsair memory and works great in my V2000z, but it not CAS 2.5 as listed. As per SPD it is CAS 3 at DDR400 speed.

Go to Crucial's website; there's a nice tool which tells you what memory you need. Then simply research the type of memory on newegg and you save 10 bucks
