    v2000z, How to undervolt Sempron using RMClock?

    Hi,
    I saw many people undervolt Turion V2000z, I am trying to do the same thing for Sempron version using RMClock...
    It seems like the RMClock is not able to throtte the CPU speed. When I change management, nothing changes. I try to force CPU to run at full speed, but it's still run at lower speed. It bump up automatically when I run super PI. However, the setting in my RMClock doesn't change it.
    Also, the VID option when I change the P-state is 1.075v, it is a drop down menu and I can't type anything lower in. How can I get it under 1v? What option should I choose to enable those features? Already check "FID/VID Change Enable" option. :(

    You should first disable Windows Powersaving options - put the ALWAYS ON option because it turns off the Windows managed throttle. Then in RMClock create two P-State Transitions - 4.0x (the lowest) which will come at 1v and the highest available (mine is 9.0x). In the AC Profile select Automatic Management and hit Apply. Now the processor should stay at 4.0x when idle (800mhz) and bump to a higher multiplier when it needs it.
    Now you may start undervolting and find the optimal values for each multiplier.
    After you find the optimal values (see the undervoltng threads), add some intermediate P-state transitions; RMclock will automatically adjust their voltages

    Vassil explained well, but there is one note, Semprons run with voltages similar to MT( not like ML), and similar wattage, so you may not be able to do much undervolting. No, do not have first hand experience, but that's what I heard.

    I too have a Sempron and RMClock and noticed that I could not drop the voltage below 1.075 which is apparently the normal operating voltage of the chip. So undervolting is not possilble with a Sempron, at least that is what I reckon.

    But you still undervolt at high frequency. RMCLock has limitation as it can go lower than Minimal Defined voltage for processor. For sempron it is 1.075v, so it can not go lower than that,

    But you can still undervolt at 1600Mhz( but you can not go lower than 1.075v though)
