    v2310us battery problem

    hi,
    i just bought this compaq, v2310us, w/ the turion processor,
    i was told that i should let it charge for 24 hours the first couple of times and drain it out.
    so i connected it to the AC.
    the battery light turned on,
    but it turned off after 20 minutes.
    so i unplugged it, plugged it again, it turned off after 2 mins.
    so i thought it was fully charged,
    i turned it on, did all the setup.
    and after 10 minutes, it went from 100% to 90%.
    what should i do?
