    Hi,

Hell, i even buy it from compaq if they have such thing.
DId someone find anything or has any experience with that. I can even do some hardware modification.

    Any help is appreciated.

I do not know if seen that drive. I can not connect it to sata even though it is sata (thats what says on drive). I had two different usb cases and nothing. I even had like a converter from sata/ide to usb and still nothing. Plugs where different.

HP uses an adapter which sits on the regular SATA connectors. You will need to remove those adapters to connect to a regular SATA connectors. So, remove the adapter and then try connecting to the SATA connector on the external drive.
