Help me out then, what the hell is it, I install the stupid HP wireless assistant but that's apparently not the underlying drivers. Link me to the v3000z's wireless adapter drivers?

Its based on a Broadcom wireless chip. The drivers which ship with the laptop are located in the SWsetup folder. They havent as of now put the V3000Z wifi drivers on the downloads page. But any Broadcom wifi drivers should work fine with the laptop.

The HP wireless assistant is just junk. Dont know why they even bothered designing it. I uninstalled it along with all other HP software.

Alas, I've tried other Broadcomm wireless drivers and they don't seem to work (I'm on plain vanilla XP pro 32bit). I tried using the v2000's broadcom wireless drivers for instance. Any chance a v3000z'r out there can upload the wireless drivers somewhere? :)

I could also use this driver along with most of the other drivers... my recovery partition went corrupt before I could make backups and I need to reinstall all the drivers. I don't particularly wanna pay 60 bucks for the recovery cds, not to mention they don't even have them yet.
