    Hi all:

    I got the v4000T with 54g(TM) 802.11b/g WLAN w/ 125HSM/SpeedBooster(TM).
I set up a linksys wireless router. The wireless connection seems to work fine when the laptop first boots up. It picks up the connection immediately and the speed is great. However, if I leave it on and it goes into sleep/hibernate mode, something gets whacked up. When it comes back on, most of the time, it cannot find a connection. Sometimes it does but it is very rare. I have to restart the laptop to get the connection again. Does anyone else have this issue? Do you guys think it could be a faulty wireless card?

The last thing I want to do is send it to HP because they will probably wipe my laptop out completely.

    Thanks,
    Ram.

I had the same problem with my LAN card. I reinstalled the newest drivers, then HP's drivers, then again the newest drivers. After that I disabled all firewalls and it disappeared. I'm not sure what exactly solved it.
What firewall are you using? In 99% of the cases it's the firewall.

I am using Zonealarm. It sounds strange because usually Zone Alarm pops something up that says if it blocked something. Anyway, when I get home, I will disable my firewall and see if the issue disappears. I will post the result here.

It seems to be the firewall. When I shut my firewall and tried to connect after it came out of hibernate, it connected just fine. Thanks... :)
