I know some people were looking for it earlier (especially after the big price mistake a few days ago). It was gone for a while, but appears to have returned.

Don't know what you're talking about, but I haven't looked at the site yet.

    A Compaq v4000t is a Pentium-M based laptop with the X700 ATI.
The v4000 is the regular one with integrated graphics

EDIT: Holy smokes!! You're right, they have a v4000T with an integrated Intel card in it..
What the heck are they doing??? OMG that is going to confuse sooo many people..

And the processor maxes out at 1.7 Ghz LOL!!!!

    I bought my 2.0 Ghz V4000T 2 months ago w/ATI X700...

And now they're charging about the same price for it as they months ago? Before the Core Duo/Solo releases?
Its official, the HPShopping site is totally FUBAR... I'm glad I bought my lappy months ago.

Yeah, well, I was going to order it on Wednesday, when the check cleared that would allow me to pay for it... I checked the store the night before and noticed that the v4000 line was down. The next morning, the day I was going to order... the graphics card, the only reason I was even considering the model, was gone. Poof. It was horrible and I nearly cried. I'd been admiring it since December.

I decided to go with a Toshiba Satellite M100, instead and I hope it's okay. Maybe it's for the best, since I'll have a duo core and an x1400 instead. I don't know.

You are right, they are driving me mad...right now they are playing price games, changing prices regularly and adding shipping...and downgrading their products??
