has anyone tried to get lenovo's veriface facial recognition program to work on their dv5/7 notebook running vista home premium 64bit (with standard bloated hp vista install)?

i tried and cant get the program to turn the webcam on when im logged out.

it works fine on vista 32bit (any version) but wont on the standard hp 64bit install

i would like for it to work on 64bit since i have 4gb of ram and 32bit cant use all 4gb

is it possible for one of you , or rather anyone reading this post, link to the page where such utilities are, i downloaded veriiface 3 and toshiba's face verification utility (after reading this thread), and neither works (toshiba's install, and dthen does not work while lenovo refuses to install on 32bit vista hp for HP... DV5t)

First of all paradigm, continuously bumping your thread every half hour is not considered good practice. If it is an important matter than people often bump it once or twice a day. This is not that important, so it probably shouldn't even be bumped that often.

Second, I am also interested in finding a program that will do face recognition on 64-bit operating system. I have looked around quite a bit, but to no avail.

Third, I have found the toshiba thing on this website: http://209.167.114.38/support/download/ln_byModel.asp Go to notebook, satellite, L350, PSLD8C-03801U and click go. I do not know what will happen if I install this, so I am waiting on notebookcheck to help.

    Forth, THANKS!!!

Could you please point me in direction of where I could get lenovo's utility? I have a DV5T running 64-bit vista like you.

i had the same problem but the soloution was extremly obvious.
The toshiba face recognition software you used was for 32bit vista, i tried it to and it wouldnt run.

SOLOUTION---> just use the software for 64bit vista!!!!
It was too large to attach, but you simply find
the model number of a toshiba satelite laptop that has 64bit windows.
Then go to the toshiba website and find the drivers for that model.
The face recognition software should be there
