    I have HP pavilion dv9750ej
If my screen resolution is 1440 x 900, I know I can view only 720p, but if I will connect the laptop via HDMI cable to my Full HD TV screen, can I play 1080p and see it in full quality?

Thanks in advance for your support!
    Tom

If the tv support 1080p, you won't have any problem watching things a that resolution.

External outputs like VGA and HDMI can support up to 1900x1200.

The monitor/tv has to support that resolution of course.
